Green Communities Canada is a national association of community organizations which works with homeowners, businesses, governments, and other communities for a sustainable future and clean environment.Their innovative and practical programs include:

So, I want to start a group which will check the environmental pollution being created by the Mining Industry in Canada.

Mining is one of Canada’s primary industries and involves the extraction, refining, and processing of economically valuable rocks and minerals.

Mineral products includes gold, silver, iron, copper,zinc, nickel etc. In recent years the industry has also been criticized for its environmental and social impacts. The pollution created by the industry has always been a matter of concern. But mining mineral cannot be escaped. It has to be done.

So, Mining of the mineral should be done in sustainable way by decreasing it's impact on environment and also not overexploiting the mineral and keeping it for future generation.

For this various community meetings need to be held to make the people being affected aware of the pollution and making the aware of their rights and how to demand for a better environment near the mining site because this is their basic right.
