Explanation / Answer

a) As all the scores are same, average will also be same and variance will be zero.

Average score = 42

Standard deviation = 0

b) Median will also be 42. Because all scores are 42.

c) Total score = 15 * 78 = 1170

Subtracting the wrong data and adding correct data to the sum = 1170 - (42 + 85) + (56 + 42) = 1141

So new average score = 1141/15 = 76.1
