To check whether the batch is acceptable, a piece was cut from each of 10 reels and the breaking strain was measured. The mean and standard deviation were 520g and 8g respectively. Since the sample size is 10, which is fairly small hence in my opinion the outlier should be investigated given the possible downfalls of not acknowledging it, would like to cite the challenger sapce shuttle disaster.

I think option A is most appropriate
