2. One significant consequence of climate change is the increase of extreme weather events in many areas of the world. Such events may be attributed to human-induced global warming. States located in South Central US, such as Oklahoma, are particularly vulnerable to extreme weathers due to their specific locations. Write a short essay stating at least four kinds of extreme weathers we may experience in the state of Oklahoma, and tell how each of the extreme weather events may affect geomorphic processes and landforms, (for example: extreme rain event, cause flood, and change/affect all the fluvial landforms).

Oklahoma, is a state of the United states of America. It is the state of unexpected terrain variations in physiology as well as distinct variation in climate.

Oklahoma covers large area under it with approximately 69000 square km with variation in climate.States's climate is influenced by southeasternly wind blown towards the land from gulf of Mexico. Due to its location inside the land its climate is called continental type of climate. States climate is known for its extreme flood and thunderstorm usually occur during rainy season and flux of huge amount of water into rivers. Whereas west faces less precipitation , drought occur here often relatively. This phenomenon took place in 1930's known as "Dust bowl" covered oklahoma and its neary by states.

Okalhoma is also prone to tornadoes which is usually occurs in spring season . when low pressure zone created inside the continent meets high pressure zone , its records one of the highest tornado occurring region. Flood and drought can also hamper the quality of soil and agriculture is greatly affected . Most of the fertile soil is taken away in floods with them , harsh winter is making severity in humans life . The dependency on natural resources is decreasing due to its frequently varied climate changes.

So much variation in summer , winter and spring make humans who are inhabiting vulnerable to a great extent . Where each season comes with different type of calamities such as extreme recored winters, drought in summers, floods in rainy season and tornadoes in spring. So, no season is safe for production and agriculture and people are depended on seasonal water too. This is making peoples life hard .
Weather of Oklahoma's is affected by its geographical location. Moisture coming from high pressure zone towards low pressure zone (inside continent). Dry air drift into rocky mountains and towards mexican plateau, this greatly affects climate and physiology of oklahoma.
