Question
(By the way - writing a "short report" should just consist of answering the question after viewing the data and performing the regression.) 8.3 and 8.4 (Petruccelli) see the graphs below! Here are key graphs in determining Lead - f(Days, S PH level). Can you explain the interaction involved here. Try a regression Lead Days, S PH, Days S PH. What would be the interpretation? DAY vs. LEAD 35 15 30 25 DAY (S PH 6) vs. LEAD DAY (S PH 6.5) vs. LEAD DAY (S PH 7) Vs. LEAD DAY (S PH 75) vs. LEAD 20 10 25 DAY (S PH 8) Vs. LEAD 14 12 s0Explanation / Answer
The first graph shows the Days vs Lead for all the S PH level,
The remaining graphs are the breakdown of first grpah for S PH 6, S PH 6.5, S PH 7, S PH 7.5, and S PH 8.
If we see the graph for DAY (S PH 6) vs. LEAD, the data values are more consistant to a straight line with positive slope
And in next graphs for DAY (S PH 6.5) vs. LEAD and DAY (S PH 7) vs. LEAD, the variance of the data points are increased around a straigh line.
Futher in the next two graph DAY (S PH 7.5) vs. LEAD and DAY (S PH 8) vs. LEAD, the data points have more variance such data points are more random and the slope is decreasing simultaneously
After analysing each graph, there is a increase in variance and decrease in slope of trendline in Days vs. LEAD grapgh as S PH level increasing.
Hence the trendline for each S PH level graphs are not parallel which indecates the inteaction between Day and S PH level. As the S PH level is increasing the days are decreasing
