Question

I am having big issues with this problem and it is killingme! I need some help.

Month 1 2 3 4 5 6 Demand 20 30 60 40 30 20

The above table goes with this. It is a linear programmingproblem. I need the problem set up as a linear program model(LP). I truly appreciate all the help. I have one otherproblem that I cant get either that is killing me, but I have beenworking at this longer. Thanks in advance.

The demand must be met. There are currently 10 units ininventory. The remainder of the demand must be met byproduction. If the production in a month is greater than thedemand, the excess is carried in inventory at a cost of 40$ perunit per month. Employees make the product at a rate of 1unit per day per worker. Fifteen are currently employed at(at the beginning of the first month). Labor cost is $1000per month per worker. The company can lay off workers at thebeginning of any month at a cost of $600 each. The companycan also hire new workers at the beginning of any month at a costof $900 each. Each employee can work an extra 2 hours(inaddition to an 8-hr day) at an overtime rate of 1.5 times theregular wage. The company has a budget of $50,000 per monthfor all expenses related to this problem.
