P(sold out) =0.60 P(not sold out) = 1- P(sold out) = 0.4 The change that the movie is not sold out on friday and saturday isjust a multiplication of these two because they are independentjust as throwing dices. In reality, they are perhaps notindependent, because if it's sold out on friday, the chance isbigger that this is also true for saturday because it's a goodmovie for example. But we assume independent changes, just as with a dice ( two times6 is 1/6*1/6 =1/36) So P( not sold out on friday and saturday) = 0.4*0.4 =0.16 Answer A Good Luck!
