Question
1.)in a binomial experiment with n=40 trials and success probability p=.17 in which X is the number of successes in the 40 trials find:
a) p(x>6)
b) p(x<5)
Those equalities are confusing me , please help. no need to use the binomial equation , just show me what it is for example , p(2,3,4,1) or 1-p(2,3,4,1) . i use excel to solve these , so don't bother solving it into the equation , just show me what it is . also , what if the question requires to use hypergermoetric , how would the equalities effect it also . thank you
