a) x small bags and y large bags 1320 = 16x+20y 912 = 8x+16y 315 = 5x+3y and net profit = x*1+y*1.5 solving for x and y from the above equations gives us answer for part (a) 1320 = 16x +20y 1824 = 16x + 32y 12y = 504 y = 42 and x =30 and so small bags=30 large bags = 42
