Ans to (a): Both the geologic map as well as the cross section show intense shearing. As a result the the most common fault type is understood to be thrust.

Ans to (b): The faults that border Slategaot mountain are different from majority of the faults present in the map. The faults bordering the mountain are normal faults, as such, the mountain can be considered as the horst block uplifted by the bordering normal faults.

Ans to (c): The gleen fault cuts across Mm (Madison Group). Therefore, one can construct the idea that Gleen Fault occured before the fault between Kk and Mm.

Due to poor visibility of the features and text in minute level, ans to (d) is not attempted.

Ans to (e): Based on the occurence of folding and faulting the major force acting on the area was : compressional force.
