(ii) What is the approximate elevation of the cloud. This is needed in order to classify the cloud. If you recognize the type of cloud you may be able to estimate its height.
(iii) Classify each cloud and write down its name
(iv) Stand in an open area and look up at the entire sky (360 degrees). What percentage of the sky is covered by cloud. You should be able to estimate to the nearest 5-10% (e.g. 10%, 25%, 40%, 75% etc.)
(v) Is this a rain bearing cloud? How can you tell?

3. The clouds in the image are mid-level clouds. Since they are dark and thick they most probably are Nimbostratus clouds.
