The African continent were follow the slavery since many centuries, even after the abolition of slavery there were many regions which were still in the web of this activity. There were different types of slavery are as follows;
1: Chattel Slavery: This type slavery signifies the total control of owner on the slave, as the owner can sell, trade or treat as he want to do with the slave.
2: Domestic service: In this type of slavery, the slave had some freedom such as marriage of their own choice and only restricted to do domestic work of houses.
3: Pawnship: This type of slavery used to redebt the amount of money in exchange of slaves. In this slaves behaved like an debtor and it is very common in west africa.
4: Military slavery: This slavery had the life long slavery as militant for the country even after the retirement.
But after time to time, these types of slavery were abolished from the country and the people were able to live their life according to their will. And the country became democratic. And the people were really enjoyed their lives as they had freedom in every manner such as their works, education, marriages, employments etc.

After the act given by the britishers, to end the slavery in1834, the country got their slaves from various parts of the world and also faced opposed by the different group of peoples. Almost 35000 slaves were imported in the country. While some of the farmers opposed to replace their slaves by the labour and they demanded the heavy amount of money in return to this deal. But there were no effect on the racism slavery such as black and white the blacks were still slaves of white and this continue upto 1994, after 1994 the South Africa became free from slavery in a true way.
