Read the following case study and answer the questions below. Emily Johnson is a 9-year-old with severe asthma. She lives at home with her mom, dad, and 12-year-old sister Cary. Emily has a number of allergens that trigger problems with breathing including animal dander, dust, mold perfume, pollen. She also has a lot of difficulty breathing when she exercises and as a result often can not engage in any sports or play the same sorts of games that her peers like. Further, her asthma has become so severe that she has missed many days of school and often can not go to friends’ houses because her parents are afraid she will have an attack when they are not with her. Emily has had to go to the ER several times over the past three months due to her chronic illness. The last time that she had to go to the hospital she had an asthma attack while watching her sister’s ballet recital because her symptoms were triggered by an audience members’ perfume. Emily and her parents had to leave the recital and go to the ER before Cary could even perform. A) Please explain how each member of this family may be feeling. As the family joints with sentiments and emotions of each other, therefore every one in the family are very much keen for other member. As this case signifies the situation for a family in which one member are facing their hard times with disease and others are compel to control over their emotions and sentiments. Therefore, rest of the members gives proper attention and care to that individual, as every one are very keen towards their health and life.
