Question

  1. What effect will high source resistance have on your output voltage?
  2. Does the high source impedance affect the non-inverting op amp voltage gain?
  3. What effect does the open loop voltage gain frequency response have on the closed loop voltage gain of the non-inverting amplifier?
  4. Discuss different applications that could use non-inverting and inverting amplifier circuits. Will the actual op amp characteristics cause any challenges if used for each application?
  5. What effect will high source resistance have on your output voltage?
  6. Does the high source impedance affect the inverting op amp voltage gain?
  7. What will limit the load impedance connected to the inverting amplifier?
  8. What effect will low value loads have on your output voltage?

Explanation / Answer

1. if souce resistance is high loading effect will cme into picture. Loading effect means , as the load resistance changes the output voltage will also change . Vout = V * Rload /( Rload+ Rsource)

2. not very much. because input impedence of non inverting op amp is very high ( ideally infinity)

3. gain bandwidth product of open loop as well as closed loop will always same. in closed loop gain will reduce and freqency range will increase.

4. non inverting amplifier application : unity gain buffer

infinite open loop gain is required for the perfect working( to get unity gain .

inverting amplifier application : integrator

slew rate may create problem . ideal op amp has infinate slew rate . but practically its not so.

5 sme first question repeating

6. it will affet the gain . gain of inverter amplifer is - Rf/ R1 . if it have high source impedence, R1 becomes sum of old R1 and the source impedence . so effectively gain will reduce

7. internal resistance of the the ouput of the opamp . ( practically few ohms) . if the load impedence is in the order of this internal resistance loading effect will occur.

8. loading effect will cme into picture , output voltage will vary according to the load .

Ans is sooo lengthy plse increase the point
