Area of triangle = .5*a*a/2
So, portion in ciricle and below circle = pi*(a/2)^2 + ((a*a/2)-(.5)*(pi)*(a/2)^2) - (.5*a*a/2)
=(11/28)*a^2 + a^2/2 +(11/28)*a^2 -.25*a^2
= (11/14)*a^2 +.25*a^2
= 56 cm^2
