It means that there is abnormal heart beat which means that in this case there is no relaxation of atria after the contraction which signified with P wave. The heart beat will be fast as it is not completed. And there will be skipping of heart beats in between as well. In this case the pulse rate will be significantly high as we can see that the P wave is tapered while the rest are so frequent than usual results in contraction of the wave as QRS and T are so near. The pulse rate will be slow due to widening of the P as well as QRS and T waves. It means that the heart rate is significantly slow and a flat line shows the heart rate can be stopped .
