Question
Each of of the solutions below contain errors (some have small errors, in formatting, while others have major errors in conceptual or computational work). Your job is to find out if the solution is correct or not. Is the solution correct? Does it contain an error or several errors? Is the answer correct, but not well justified? If the solution contains a plot, is the scale on the x- and y-axes appropriate? Is there a legend? Is the function plotted correctly? Is the graph clear? How would you improve the answer? Plot f(x) = Squareroot x plot (Squareroot x, x = -10..0)Explanation / Answer
f(x) = sqrt (x)
the graph shown above is correct for the scale
x = -10 ......0
since the square root function cannot have a negative value as for negative value the solution would be complex or imaginary
hence the plot does not exists for -10 to 0
if we plot the function for positive x values ( 0....+10 )
then the graph will exist
scaling should be x = 0..+10
