Explanation / Answer

There are 3 bones affected by fracture in the orbit. They are frontal, temporal and zygomatic bones. The bones are differentiated according to the region in which they are present. Orbital fractures are difficult to fixate surgically because , the bones are very thin for fixing of screws and plates. Even if screws are fixed too, there is risk possibly of breaking of bones and cause futher difficulties. Thus , it is suggested that orbital fractures are difficult to fixate.
