From the first histogram the corresponding distribution is symmetric. Thus mean = mode = median and they are located corresponding to the class of highest frequency.
From the second histogram in the first row the corresponding distribution is negative skewd. Thus mean < median < mode.
From the 3rd histogram the corresponding distribution is positively skewd. Thus mode < median < mean.
3) For type A and Type B the mean are equal but the standard devviations are different.
We select type A because it's standard deviation is lower that the standard deviation of type B and thus it is more consistent than type B.
