Question
I am stuck when i write the program. Can anyone tell me how to do it? or if not using SAS, you can do it manually so I can figure it out myself. Thank you.
2. Consider the following model: if drug B where x o. otherwise -lt, otherwise x-k I, if drug C 0, otherwise x, = ln (dose) y potency of drug Run SAS to test whether the 3 lines are parallel, i.e. test whether the slopes of these 3 lines are the same. Use = 0.05. Use the following data: Drug Product Dose 0.2 0.4 0.8 1.6 2.0 1.8 1.3 4.3 4.1 2.0 6.5 4.9 2.8 8.9 5.7 3.4Explanation / Answer
Please avoid using PROC CHART
Instead apply PROC SURVEYLOGISTIC .
As you have to test whether the lines are parallel or not, you actually have to test whether the lines have equl slopes or not. For this testing purpose PROC SURVEYLOGISTIC is the best option to work with. And you must also put alpha = 0.05 in use.
Try to solve with this. All the best.
