Based on this, I would choose hospital A for surgery.

(c)
Percentage of death for patients in a bad condition in hospital A is 12.85%.
Percentage of death for patients in a bad condition in hospital A is 16.67%.
Based on this, I would choose hospital A for surgery.

(d)
The answers in (b) and (c) do contradict with (a). Hospital A is preferable because of better conditional percentages of death.
