Y the no. of absent students is also a discrete variable taking values from 0,1,2....upto no. of students in the course.
U the no. of times a duffer has to swing at the golf ball before hitting it is again a discrete variable taking value from 1,2,3......
X the length of a rattlesnake is a continuous variable as it can values like 6.1 feet etc.
Z amount of royalties is also a continuous variable.
Y the ph of soil is continuous variable such that 0<= Y<=14
