Answers-
1. Social media can be a lot of help as it helps in gaining awareness of the whole of situation and in addition to it also catches the public support. Example- The NYPD reignited its social media monitoring programto help stop lone wolf terrorists in response to a hatchet attack on police last year. This shows that social media can be very benificial.
2. Police should be allowed to use GPS for tracking someone to a limited extent that only has genuine use. Vigilance must be increased over how police is using the service for the good purpose so that its abuse can be avoided.
3. Yes! I do have GPS in my phone as it helps me giving direction which saves my time and help me in reaching the destinations safely.
4. It could worry as innocents may get their image spoiled due to this, but it's a matter of public safety. If we have to sacrifice something fora greater good and safety, we must tolerate this fact.
