a) To interpret slope: For every aditional unit of literacy rate, output value decreases by 0.0527 units.

b) Y-intercept:

Y is an dependent variable. At zero literacy rate difference between ages of Husband- wife is 7.1 and for every additional unit of literacy rate(x), out put value reduces by 0.0527.
