Question

This isn't really a math problem. I have a programentered into the TI 83 -- don't want to lose it. Anyways, when working w/ matrices on the TI 83, I would like to clear theprior matrix entries, but don't want to loose theprograms. Any ideas on how to do this? This isn't really a math problem. Explanation / Answer

To delete a program you would hit 2nd "mem" and then select"2:Mem Mgmt/Del..." then select "7:Prgm..." and put the arrownext to the program you want to delete and hit delete. I would not worry about clearing the old matrix entry causingthe deletion of the program. If the entries are built into the program you can just go toprgm and select the right cursor once and you should be in the editcolumn, from there just scroll down and select the program todelete.
