Question
First let me say that while I am not a student, other than of life itself, I do require the answer to a simple question - what is the rationale behind sound clarity at night being better than during the daylight hours? maybe the speed is affected? I was told or had read that this is true but now cannot seem to find a web site to prove or disprove this hypothesis. Please, someone take a few minutes so I can have peace of mind once again - all I can offer is a couple of attaboys for your time. Thanks ever so much.....Explanation / Answer
I have no idea if there is a website to prove or disprove thisfact, but I know it is true. Have you given it a try? if not pleasetry and compare your phone and radio signal reception during theday and at night, you will notice a significant difference.
Now as for why? It is simple less traffic at night than day, take the normal traffic during the day it takes you longer to movefrom point A to B than it will take you in the cold of thenight. At night there are less sound barriers to deal with, fewerpeople are on line, less phone activities, most business officesare close and most importantly the air is cold meaning more watervapor in the air resulting in better conductivity.
Please know that these are my own opinions and not saying thatit is a scientific or right answer to your question, but sincerelyhope it helps you.
