a) Plan 1: $35/day so $105 for the 3days aswell as mileage$0.15 C(x) = 105 + 0.15x      (where x isnumber of miles) Plan 2: $90/day so $270 for 3days no mileage C(x) = 270 b) Plan 1: C(1000) = 105 + 0.15*1000                               =$255 (cheaper than plan 2 of $270) Plan 1: C(1200) = 105 + 0.15*1200                         =$285 (>plan 2 of 270 so not cheaper) What mileage same? When C(x)= 270 270 = 105 +0.15x x= 1100 , so plans cost same at 1100 miles c) Graph function... do using excel or whatever Not sure what means by system of equations sorry, hope thishelps
