Greetings all~ I have approximatley an 87 average so far in a class. My goalis to get to at least a 89.5 or 90 by the end of the final. Thefinal is worth 20 percent of my total grade. What is the lowestgrade I can get on my final to get to a 89.5 or 90 overall average?I am aiming for a 100, but I don't want to be too stressed out toget a 100 and want to allow for some error if it happens. The 87 average you have is worth 80% and the final is20%. Therefore you can set it up like this: 87*(0.8) + X*(0.2) = 89.5 (Note: 0.8 & 0.2 are 80% and 20% ; X is the grade you needto earn to receive 89.5 for the class.)
