If my average is approximately an 87, which is worth 80 percent ofmy final grade. My final exam is worth 20 % of my final grade. If Iscore a 95 or 100 on my final exam, would I have a chance ofgetting my final average to a 90?

My average so far (without the final exam) is an 87.

I'm trying to figure out the lowest grade I can make (though I amshooting for a 100) on my final exam, worth 20% to make a 90 in thecourse.

I am confused as to if I have hope of getting a 90 in thecourse.

I will rate lifesaver to someone who can help me figure thisout!

The best way to figure this out is to use: 87 * 0.8 + f * 0.2= course grade, where f is your final exam grade. If you score a 100% on the final your course grade will be 89.6% soyes it is possible =) Double check the decimal on your 87% it might make adifference.
