As both jake and Jordan getting some initial amount as allowance and then linear constantly incremental increase per hour in their amount hence for getting equal amount after n (say) hours, we get equilibrium equation fir amount earned for both after n hours as

Jake's earnings =Jordan's earnings

15+6.5n = 10+9n

(9-6.5)n = 15-10

2.5n = 5

n = 5/2.5

n = 2hours
