What structure do plant cells have that prevents them from lysing in a hypotonic solution?
What structure do plant cells have that prevents them from lysing in a hypotonic solution?
Explanation / Answer
Ans Whenever we place any cell in hypertonic solution it will leads to plasmolysis and othe the other hand ifwe place cell in hypotonic solution deplasmolysis happen. It happens due to concentration of solutes inside and outside of cell or solution. But permanent lysis of cell is prevented by cell wall which is composed of cellulose and other materials, this cell wall made up of cellulose restrict further lysis of cell in hypotonic solution
