Question

SPSS Help... How do I calculate Cronbach's Alpha for pretest/posttest data with multiple variables? The data I was given is based off a survey assessing 4 constructs (Attitudes, Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control, and Intention), with 3 variables (survey questions) for each construct. I know that normally I would follow Analyze > Scale > Reliability Analysis to find Cronbach's alpha with numerous variables from a single measurement, but what about when the 3 variables are measured numerous times (pretest/posttest)? Is it the same or do I find it differently? Thank you for your help!

Explanation / Answer

Hey , you need have to change the way on the basis of number of variables. Whether it is 4 or 3 you have to use the same approach Analyze > Scale > Reliability Analysis to find Cronbach's alpha.
