Question

A factorial experiment was designed to test for any significant differences in the time needed to perform English to foreign language translations with two computerized language translators. Because the type of language translated was also considered a significant factor, translations were made with both systems for three different languages: Spanish, French, and German. Use the following data for translation time in hours. Test for any significant differences due to language translator system (Factor A), type of language (Factor B), and interaction. Use a =.05. Complete the following ANOVA table (to 2 decimals, if necessary). The p-value for Factor A is What is your conclusion with respect to Factor A? The p-value for Factor B is What is your conclusion with respect to Factor B? The p-value for the interaction of factors A and B is

Heneral Hypothesis:-

H0 = There is no significance diffrence in the mean of Factor A / Factor B

H1= There is significance diffrence in the mean of Factor A / Factor B

(b) P value with respect to Factor A

P value = 0.5143

At given level of significance, alpha = 0.05%, P- value(0.5143) is higher than given leven of significance so we accept the Null hypothesis that there is no significance diffrence due to language translater system on time needed for translation.

(c). P value with respect to factor B

P value = 0.0369

at given level of significance alpha = 0.05, P value (0.0369) is less than given level of significance so we reject the null hypothesis that there is significance diffrence due to types of Languages on time needed for translation.

(d) P value with respect to intersection of factor A and Factor B

P- Value = 0.1668

at given level of significance, P value (0.1668) is higher than given level of significance so we accept the null hypothesis that There is no interaction between the two factor(Translator system and type of language).
