Since you know you average about 100 pizza deliveries a week. You decide to make some more calculations about how many pizzas you will need to give away for free if you decide to advertise that pizzas not delivered in 30 minutes or less will be free.

Probablity of delivering Pizzas on time (t<30) = 0.985

Probablity of not delivering Pizzas on time (t>30) (p) = 1-0.985 = 0.015

Total no of pizzas (n)= 100

Expected no of pizza's not delivered on time = n*p = 100*0.015 = 1.5
