Please help with both problems
If a concave lens were made out of very thin plastic filled with air so that the lens would have an effective index of refraction n = 1. and were then placed in water where n = 1.33. the lens would act in the same way as a convex lens in air. as a concave lens in air. as a flat reflecting surface between water and air as seen from the water side. as a concave mirror in air. as a concave mirror in air. Assume the lens if centered at the origin, the aperture location is -3f/5 and the object location is -3f What is the location of the exit pupil1? f/2 f/2 -f f -3f/2 3f/2Explanation / Answer
Since the outer refractive index is greater than the inside refractive index. It would behave opposite to normal.
So it would act as a convex lens.
2)v=uf/(u+f) = (-3f*f)/(-3f+f) = 3f/2
