1) We can use this in a probability lesson by considering the outcome of the spin to be a random variable {1,2,3,.. 12} as sample space.
and a Probability mass function(pmf) can be constructed on it.
Questions that can be asked is about the pmf for the above random variable
it would work as an activity for students if we are given pmf of the above random variable, they can calculate probabilities for different events. for eg what is the probability of even number coming ?
It can be used in complementary probabilities. For example A is an event where 1 is the outcome of the spin
then P(A compliment ) = P(X=2,3,4...12)
