Explanation / Answer

To generate a random number in excel use =RAND() function

Write =RAND() in the A1 cell

after pressing enter a random number will be generated.

Copy the same code till the cells of coloum A50 and B50

To calculate the average write =SUM(A1:A50)/50 and =SUM(B1:B50)/50 in the D1 and E1 cells showing the averages.

To draw a scatter plot go to insert and add the scatter plot by clicking the scatter plot option
