Middle values are 48 , 50 so the mean closest to 49.
b) Mean is closest to 49.
Standard deviation is dispersion of data value from mean.
Dispersed values left to the mean is near to 5 and right also near to 5
So standard deviation is closest to 5
c) Now by using technology we have to find mean and standard deviation.
By using excel we can find easily.
First enter all values in to excel.
Use command =AVERAGE(select values)
So we get mean = 48.9
For finding standard deviation use command =STDEV(select values)
So standard deviation is 5.1
