If the company has only one position to fill and prefers to fill it with the applicant who performed best on the aptitude test, which of the applicants should be offered the job?
Answer:
Thomas
Morgan
Reyna
Explanation / Answer
PROBABILITY OF GETTING A JOB OF THOMAS IS HIGHER ,AS
IN FIRST CASE OF THOMAS, MEAN =66.3 AND STD =12
SO Z VALUE IS 1.7
SO , FROM TABLE WE CAN CONCLUDE THE P (Z=1.7) i.e. 0.9554
But in case of morgan and Reyna , the z value is 0.6 and 1.3 respectively and hence the probability of getting selected is 0.7257 and 0.9032 respectuvely.
