Degrees of freedom for between groups = Number of groups - 1 = 5-1 = 4

Degrees of freedom for total = Number of observations - 1 = 80 - 1 =79

Degrees of freedom for Within Group = Degrees of freedom for total - Degrees of freedom for between groups

= 79-4 = 75

Mean sum of squares - Between Group = Sum of Squares between group / Degrees of freedom for between groups

Therefore ,

Sum of Squares between group = Mean sum of squares for Between Group x Degrees of freedom for between groups
