Number of handshake= n(n-1)/2

Since we are looking for handshake by 11 people so put n=11 in above formula, we get
Number of handshake by 11 people= 11(11-1)/2
=11(10)/2
=55.
Step 4: Look back ( check and interpret)
If we physically line up 11 people then we can notice that 11th person will handshake with 10 other person.
10th person will handshake with 9 other persons.
9th person will handshake with 8 other people and so on
