Question

I don't understand how to get blood glucose level from the information I was given. I was given the information for the standard curve from my professor. The second table was also given to me and it has information for my class based on the handling time of a crayfish (the time it took us to draw blood from the crayfish), the mass of the crayfish, and the absorbance of the blood that we diluted with a 2-fold dilution factor with R/O water. I'm not sure how I get the BGL from this information.

Time(s) Mass (g) O.D 114.62 23.915 .628 120 28.348 .348 781 25.348 1.206 729 26.935 1.247 282 21.52 1.492 61.13 26.55 1.218 87 22.3278 .304 96 24.89 .000 558 24.17 .702 180 47.4 .732 240 25.33 1.242 339 25.96 .357 58 26.68 .252 204 27.03 .456 234 22.749 .510

Explanation / Answer

we need to multiply time with OD and then subtract it from the mass

blood glucose level=MASS- (TIME X O.D.)

This will give the level

every stage.
