0.159 is from 117/(117+617) <------this ratio is where i went wrong it seems, so why is it wrong?

Your approch is wrong. Since you are calculationg the convertion of probabities to odds. But odds calculation if favor is seems to right in the solution manual. Since the odds in favor is defined as the number of success:number of failure. but you are calculating odds ratio.
