A therapist conducted a study comparing the effectiveness of treating mild and severe phobias (Factor A) using two different therapy techniques (Factor B). Forty participants were randomly assigned into 1 of 4 groups differing in phobia type (mild, severe) and therapy technique (therapy A, or B). All participants were rated on the number of phobia behaviors displayed after therapy.
