Sample space is {diamond, club, heart, spade}

(b)

Sample space is {1,2,3,4,5,6,7}

(c)

Sample space is {short, tall, grande, venti, trenta}

(d)

Generally question would say sample space for a particular sum e.g. 3 or 6 etc. Here nothing is given hence sample space will be 6 x 6 = 36 for two dice.
