Question

I had a question, more so on some guidance in how to start and finish the work. But, I am doing a research paper and it's going to be a statistical research paper. I wanted to see if weather changes customer based appointments that are scheduled at work.

So for instance, there will be a number for appointments, a certain numebr for missed appointments, and a variable based on "clear" or "non clear" days to see what days more appointments are missed based on clear or non clear days. H1 would be: The number of appointments missed will increase, pertaining to the weather on a         “non clear” day vs “clear” days. and H0 would be; Weather on “non clear” days will not increase the number of missed appointments compared to “clear” days.

My question is can someone help me with the paper in terms of how to set up the stats in sequential order. Not necessarily help me with typing or understanding the paper itself...but can someone help me understand how I present the statistical data from step one from the hypothesis into the final steps in presenting the data. What steps and equations do I need to calculate and test the hypothesis and in the end considering if I accept or reject the null...so forth and so on?

Thank you
