Ht = H0[1 - (1/2N)]t, where , Ht is the heterozygosity at time t, Ho is the initial heterozygosity, N is the population size and time is number of generations.
Ho= 0.8, Ne = 50, t= 20, therefore,
Ht = H0[1 - (1/2N)]t
Ht = 0.8 [1 - (1/2(50))] 20
= 0.8 [ 1-0.11 ] 20
Ht = 14.24
Assuming Ne = 10
Ht = H0[1 - (1/2N)]t
Ht = 0.8 [1 - (1/2(10))] 20
= 0.8 [ 1-0.05 ] 20
Ht = 15.2
