The observed frequencies are calculated as Ratios*300 similiarly expected frequencies also.

From the given data,

Using chisquare distribution,

Test Statistic, X^2 = 23.6000
Critical X^2: 9.48772

Here P-value < alpha 0.05 and also chisquare value = 23.6 > critical value of chisquare 9.4877, So we reject Ho

Thus, we conclude that there is significance difference between the proporiton of two universities
