(b) Dr. Fullair plans to compare the lung capacities measured on members of the university track team to the lung capacities measured on members of the university wrestling team to assess if jogging increases lung capacity on average. (c) Researcher Jack would like to test whether or not blonds really do have more fun as compared to brunettes. He gives a survey whose score is to measure the level of 'fun' a person has to a sample of blonde females working in a modeling agency and to another sample of brunettes working for a temporary staff agency.
