Explanation / Answer

(A)

As per bar daigram, Percentage of game console owner plan to buy a replacement device within the next 12 months is 10.6%.

(B)

As per bar daigram, Percentage of cell phone owner plan to buy a replacement device within the next 12 months is 14.8%.

Given that, lndividuals = 250 millions

then, individuals of cell phone = 14.8% of 250 million individuals

= (14.8*250)/100

= 37 millions

(C)

   Option C :

The statement is Inferential, because the survey reports on a sample of the country's population. This claim requires an inference to the population.

With inferential statistics, we are trying to reach conclusions that extend beyond the immediate data alone. For instance, we use inferential statistics to try to infer from the sample data what the population might think.
